Membership Information
Membership in The William Strother Society is open to Strother family members, descendants of related families, and anyone interested in the Strother family. We currently have around 300 active members from across the United States, Great Britain and Europe. Members receive many benefits:
- admittance to the biennial conference with a business meeting, tours of historic sites, and socializing
- the quarterly Houses of Strother Newsletter
- access to the Members' Section of this website (including membership list, newsletters, etc.)
- access the Strother Family Database with over 82,000 names
- assistance from the Society's Genealogist
- working with other members on Strother research
- resources that assist in applications for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Sons of the American Revolution (SAR)
Join or Renew
Membership dues are $20 for a two-year period per family in the same household. Payment is due at, or shortly after, the conference at the beginning of each two-year period (i.e., in July of even-numbered years). You can join or renew by mail or online as follows.
